AMAZING
I've had pretty bad acne for almost ten years now. I've literally tried everything. I've used prescription creams, Proactiv, over the counter products, and none of them did much. Proactiv actually made my skin worse.

I've heard about Lush a lot for the past few years, but I don't have a store around me so I didn't bother to try it. After reading an article about them a few weeks ago I decided it wouldn't hurt to try and I ordered this soap. When it came I was a little underwhelmed by the look of it, but the smell was heavenly - after a stressful day at work it managed to relax me.

After just one use I could see it working. I'm very pale and my skin tends to get very blotchy, but after washing my face with Fresh Farmacy I saw my skin tone evening out. I've used it twice a day for about two weeks now and my skin looks better than it has in years. I've had a couple pimples, but they're small and disappear within a day or two. I've even seen a few start to develop, but a few hours after washing my face they're gone.

I recommend this product to everyone with moderate to severe acne.

Sensative Skin Savior
My skin is combo (dry/oily) and it is uber sensative. It gets splochy easily and doesn't like heavy-perfumed products. SO THIS FACE SOAP IS PERFECT. It is AMAZING. I highly recommend-- mos def worth the price.

The wonder product
I love this toner.
I smells good and feels good.
I have really bad acne and this toner totally helped it out and when I needed to refresh i just sprayed this on a cotton pad and wiped my face. It makes my face feel so good.

Sensational for Dry Skin!
Unfortunately when the product isn't available for a time you lose the reviews, but just so you know, this product has had rave reviews, and not without good reason.

Pregnancy and nursing wrecked havoc on my skin, resulting in dryness and horrible peeling - it was embarrassing! I tried so many lotions/creams/moisturizers, and nothing held the answer I desperately needed. Enter Lush products and their yummy natural goodness!

The combo I needed was the Sea Salt Scrub (once every few days, it gently scrubbed away the nasties and the salt started to help heal my skin), Angels on Bare Skin in the morning with Imperialis, and THIS cleanser at night, which I have to say is like washing your face with melted white chocolate! I used mine every day and it lasted me about 3 months. But I only use a little because it's so rich. I let it melt a tiny bit under some warmish water, and rubbed it over my skin... I cleansed with finger tips, and took most of it off (but not all) with a super-soft wash cloth... the process became very zen for me! Leaving just a trace on my skin overnight quickly brought my skin back to it's best - clear and bright and something I could be proud to show off!

In Love with LUSH
I can't rave enough about LUSH's Baby Face Cleanser. My skin is chronically dry, and even with moisturizing soaps and tons of lotion, a few hours into the day my face feels tight, dry, and flaky. Not so with Baby Face. It took some getting used to, it's so oily it feels more like Vaseline than a cleanser when first put on the face. But the result is wonderful...my skin is softer, smoother and almost seems to glow after using Baby Face. I combine it with just a touch of LUSH's Celestial moisturizer in the morning and my face looks and feels perfect all day. My only complaint with this product is the size, at 1.3 ounces and with daily use, it only lasts about two weeks. It's worth every penny though, I'll happily order two at a time to make sure I don't run out.

Perfect Mask (for my normal-sensitive skin)
I got this for Christmas and waited a whole 20 minutes before I indulged! Split seconds after I began the application, my skin felt energized, my pores were singing Magnaminty praises. Aside from the incredible feel of having this mask on, what I loved the most was it's dual personality - its an exfoliating scrub as you wash it off. I use a variety of masks on a weekly basis and sometimes they are too strong on my skin. Some feel like they are sucking the life out of my pores, others are very irritating, I can hardly wait for them to dry before washing off. This mask is an all around great rejuvenator! I would definetly buy again.

I bought this Lush product due to the high reviews by other Lushies and couldn't wait to get home to try it.

When I opened the pot, the first thing I noticed was the color - it is a little turn-offish, but don't let that stop you from slathering your entire face with it. The smell is amazing and not too minty or strong. Like the previous review said below, it smells like mint chocolate chip ice cream. I put the mask all over my face (you can put it on your neck and back as well), lie down for 15 minutes to get the full spa feel, then wash it off in the shower with warm water. I find it is much easier in the shower because when the mask dries, it takes some rubbing to get it off.

When the mask is on, your face tingles from the mint and feels so refreshing! When the mask is rinsed off, your skin feels even better. Great cleanser and exfoliator in one!

Be sure to keep an eye out on the 'Best by' date because this only has a shelf life of 4 months.

Royal de-gunker
Last time I went to the Lush store I was in the mood for one of their fresh masks. I had great luck with the chocolatey "Cupcake" and the green scrubby Lettuce mask, but that day they were out of all their masks. The sales person pointed me straight towards Mask of Magnaminty, and after taking a peak at it I knew it must have been good. The scent is mostly peppermint, with a hint of vanilla, very refreshing and it feels powerful when applied to the face, I could feel it sucking out everything that didn't belong on my skin.

I wanted something that would de-gunk my face, to scrub and invigorate it to tip top shape and this did the trick! I didn't use this as a wash, instead I used my favorite face wash and applied this to a clean, dry face and about eight minutes later I scrubbed it off in the shower. I could feel the smoothness and slickness returning to the top layer. My skin was glowing after I used my night serum and lotion and even the self tanner I applied later went on beautifully and smoothly. The results were great and I felt like it erased any redness and imperfections right off my face, the skin was even and pristine. As an added bonus - this lasts 4 weeks, much longer than the fresh masks that you have to refrigerate. The tub is a decent size and I am looking forward to establishing a long, happy future with this mask.

Lovely product
Let me begin by noting the obvious - nothing is going to be an overnight magic bullet for severe skin problems, especially acne. However, Coalface is one of the better products I've used. It provides regular, gentle exfoliation courtesy of the small charcoal flakes included in the soap and sops up oil without being excessively drying. I love the smell - a dark, licorice/sandalwood scent - not everyone is a fan, but it does fade fairly quickly. Though I too have seen complaints of staining, I haven't experienced this myself. Those used to more heavily packaged products do need to adjust to using a bar soap. Invest (not that expensive) in soap dishes that drain well. My choice is essentially a wooden grill type soap dish I found at IKEA - it allows full air circulation, and I set it on top of a folded paper towel (to catch any excess moisture dripping through) in my medicine cabinet between uses. Rather than rubbing the whole bar between my hands, I just scrub one damp palm across the top of the bar until I have a fair amount of soap, then rub hands together for lather. It's very simple, just a bit different than the procedure for using liquid face cleansers.
Lush's commitment to fair trade and reasonable, ethical business practices is also very appealing. For those worried about whether this product will work, I encourage you to visit your local Lush store for a sample (if possible) or contact the company directly to see what sample/return policies are for mail orders. While I haven't ordered on-line from them, all of my in-store experiences (at 3 different stores) have been quite good.

it works ok but it's not for me
The description and reviews for coalface and my sheer curiosity for a licorice and coal cleanser drew me to coalface. I have acne and it really hasn't helped at all with it, and the coal is a little too coarse for my skin and i have to use a lot of the product to get enough coal on my hands to spread it evenly around my face. On a positive note it leaves my skin squeaky clean and i enjoy the scent. When using this i have to use a moisturizer afterwords or my skin cracks and gets itchy.

Meh. No difference in acne
I tried Coalface in hopes that it would help control my über-oily, sensitive, blemish-prone skin. It removed oil without being too drying, but unfortunately it didn't make any difference in my acne. If anything, it made my forehead a little worse. Too bad, because I really wanted it to work! I ended up giving the bar to my husband, who doesn't have acne but finds this soap's color, scent, and exfoliating scrubbies appealing.

The scent is unusual for a facial cleanser -- black licorice with just a whisper of lemony tang -- and I actually really liked it. It smells fresh and no-nonsense, like it's ready to throw down with your acne and win.

I never had any staining on my towels or sink (all are white, btw) after using this product. As long as you wash all the lather off your face, your towels should be fine; Coalface doesn't leave a residue. Its lather is grayish-white and rinses off easily.

Try not to rub the bar directly on your face, as the little scrubby exfoliators can be sharp and irritating on sensitive skin. Instead, rub the bar between your hands and then put the lather on your face. If you have acne, I think it's worth trying Coalface just to see if it works for you.

Scrub away the blues
I got this as a gift from a thoughtful fellow Amazon friend ( you know who you are : ) ) and can't say enough good things about it! First of all this is not soap, I see some people are calling it such but I used this after using a body wash. This is a moisturizing exfoliant that is simply out of this world. This actually lasts longer than I thought it would, I don't know how people can use up this whole block during two showers...

The creamy, silky cocoa butter base is a nest for ground almonds, rice and adzuki beans from Eastern Asia. This bar is full of little scrubbing bits and once in the shower I have no problems holding onto it and the exfoliation it produces is wonderful. It's like a custom made scrub where you can control the intensity and placement of the scrubbing. With lavender and lemon oils it smells soft and cozy, but clean with the added creaminess from the cocoa butter. I will definitely be getting this again when it runs out, it's great from toes to neckline area - I would not touch it to the face, obviously. It leaves the skin smooth as glass and no lotion is needed at the end - gotta love that!

The best part is the glow; in the shower the butter melts into a super thin layer on top of the skin and water droplets collect on top, like on a well waxed car or something and the skin underneath is literally glowing. Amazing precuts and so natural too, I totally love it!

It's the best!
I get complimented by dates for having soft skin and this is the secret. I combine it w/ Nivea Q10 lotion, which is non-greasy and the combination leaves my skin ultra-soft.

A tip in using this is to cut it up into little squares before you use it. Each little square will be 1-2 uses. If you get the biggest size, you should cut it into slabs first, then make squares out of those. It's expensive, but it'll last for quite a while if you do this.

This is THE best.
I have some dry bumpy bits at the top of my arms that have been resistant to any scrubby product I've ever tried to use, but buffy got my skin so smooth! Amazing, and highly recommended. Soak in the tub/shower/whatever so the hot water softens up your skin, then scrub away. The small bar lasts 2 or 3 uses; the large is twice as big. The small one is more reasonably priced for people who just want to sample the stuff.

This thing has lots of great little scrubby bits in it. Ground rice, ground almonds, AND adzuku beans. Not just one, but three, and they are all super-scrubby. You'll be a little red when you're done, but it's SO worth it once you've cooled off and your skin is as smooth as a baby's bottom.

The only downside is that it makes your tub look like somebody dumped sand into the bottom of it once the thing drains. The bar melts at around 'hot water' temperature, and you're not supposed to use any moisturizer after using this stuff - but you really don't have to! The moisturizing oils in the bar really do work very well. I'll definitely be picking up a couple more of these.

The cocoa butter/lemon/lavendar scent is really amazing as well. Soothing AND refreshing, it can wake you up in the morning or calm you down at night before you go to sleep. Definitely try this thing, though, if you're looking for ultimate exfoliation plus moisturizing!

Silky sheets too...
The Silky Underwear powder has many uses. I am tempted to stop reviewing and to climb back into bed because I've put this all over my sheets and it really makes you just want to sleep in late.

While using this product from the container, you may experience a little frustration because the lid has 7 larger holes (like a spice bottle) and a lot of powder comes out all at once. I'd advise using this with a powder puff or (I figured it out a few minutes ago) with a clean white fluffy sock over your hand. Just pour a little powder onto the sock and use it like a mitt to smooth the powder all over. It really works. No need to wash the socks yet, wear them while working out. A washcloth or a powder puff will also keep this product from being wasted.

The texture is very fine. I just feel the cocoa butter as a smooth velvety moisture within the powdery texture.

I was addicted to his Woods of Windsor powder because it reminded me of him and it has Lemon, Orange, Bergamot, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Clove and Neroli. I'd love if LUSH made a powder for guys, then I could annoy my husband by stealing it from him.

Wow, I absolutely love this stuff! From the moment I opened the container, I was taken in by the scent. Then, after dusting, I loved the way the smell changed with my body chemistry. The powder feels divine on my skin- very silky. As I'm sitting here typing this, I am drinking in the luxury. Another great product from Lush!!!

While you may want to get a powder puff or something to dust the powder, I found that putting a small amount on my hand worked just fine.

Angels on Bare Skin- Gateway Drug!
This is the LUSH product that started my addicition! I had just started using Proactiv when my girfriend gave me a sample of Angels.

The Proactiv was working for me, but was drying out my skin something wicked.

I started using Angels on Bare Skin in the afternoon and found that it really helped with the dryness caused my the harsh chemicals of the Proactiv.

Angels is moisturising and mildly exfoliating. The ground almonds really leave your face invigorated (I rub it one for a minimum of one minute (good for circulation)... It takes time for your face to absorb the goodness!)

The smell is very fresh and lavender based.

Don't be afraid of the oil in the cleanser, even if you are using Proactiv. Chances are, your face needs it and it will REALLY reduce the chafed, burning, cracked skin feeling that you feel whenever you smile.

It did not cause additional breakouts.

I removed one star becuase for oily, acne prone skin, Angels on Bare Skin ALONE will not give you the desired results that you are looking for. (I tried using just Angels and my skin was not bad, but not as good as it was when used with medicated treatment)

Then again, if you do not have acne, Angels on Bare SKin would be a FIVE STAR product for sure.

Remember when purchasing that a little goes a VERY long way and it has a shelf life of only three months.

Fifteen dollars worth will typically last me three months if I use a pea sized amount mixed with water once a day, with the occasional multiple washing.

Great value. Amazing product.

Gentle Exfoliating Scrub
Most exfoliating scrubs can only dream of being Angels on Bare Skin. They are scratchy, stingy and somewhat annoying for the most part. It is rare to find an exfoliating scrub that is kind to sensitive skin and this is perhaps the most calming and moisturizing scrub you will ever find.

The almonds are ground very finely and are blended with kaolin, lavender oil, rose and lavender flowers. What you have is a very smooth creamy scrub with enough power to clear away dry skin and moisturize the rest of your face at the same time.

This smooth paste is easy to use on a washcloth or just by spreading it over your skin with your fingertips. Using this face wash made me want to try Aqua Marina (seaweed, orange oil and aloe vera) and Herbalism (rose, chamomile, rosemary, and rice bran).

Gentle and Natural Exfoliator
For those looking for a gentle exfoliator, here's your girl. I've used Angels on Bare Skin for several years. It never disappoints. Loaded with lavender flowers and other botanicals plus a fantastic recipe of essential oils makes for a pleasant natural fragrance. Lightly bubbles for cleansing.
This is a very gentle exfoliator, however. If you are looking for a SCRUB, look elsewhere. This one will not do the trick.

Truly a Dream Cream
I have two daughters with severe eczema. They are also severely allergic to nuts. So many of the creams and remedies out there contain almond products which they can't use. Every cream we've tried before, even creams like aquaphor, make my daughter scream when her eczema is open, but this one doesn't hurt at all. Though battling her eczema takes many different approaches, and the Dream Cream doesn't necessarily reduce the eczema, it does reduce the itching and the pain, and lets her fall asleep. While the previous reviewer commented on the smell, I actually appreciate that it smells natural, because perfumes can also be an irritant. For anyone with extremely sensitive or eczemic skin, I highly recommend this.

Wonder Lotion
I have keratosis pelaris, which is basically red bumps that exsist primarily on arms, and this has done wonders for it. Dream Cream has virtually removed any traces of kp and kept my skin smooth as well. I highly recommend this for anyone who has skin problems.

LOVE IT!
I have keratosis pelaris and am getting married in September. I was freaking out about how my arms would look with my dress and found the reviews for this product and thought I'd give it a try. Insane looking but wonderful
When I first ordered a pot of this and opened it, I was a bit scared, because it was chock full of fragrance and blue salt!

But man, I am glad I got it! If you have any blemishes this pulverizes anything off your skin, and I use it about 1-2 times a week, mostly at night, and right after using it my face is smooth as glass, no kidding!!

YOur cream will sink in better, any dermatologist products you use will work better and you will hardly need any foundation. Now when you think how many scrubs are out there and how expensive and not worth your time and money they are, this is a real gem.

Wonderful face scrub, I will always buy this!

the ultimate facial scrub
After only the first time using this product, I immediately knew that the scrub I had been using was not doing the job nearly as well as this product did. I've tried nearly a dozen facial scrubs...and none of them came close to the quality of this scrub. On first site, the blue look was a bit odd...but it smells heavely. Despite it's vodka base, it smells like a margarita. It's very grainy and it spreads well, so you don't need to use very much at as single sitting... the pot will last you quite some time. After only the first use, my face felt smoother and softer than any other scrub has gotten it... practically like silk! After only a few days, any blemishes or potential breakouts that were brewing, were gone completely. I was very impressed, and at this point I was ready to throw away any other facial scrub I had in my stash of bath product goodies. I tend to use this product at night just before retiring...and i have noticed that my complection looks very glowy the next day. Not a lot of foundation needed! Give this product a try. It is worth double it's cost, as far as I am concerned.

I'm such a Lushie...
Love, love, love the Ocean Salt. I have very, very dry skin, actually I have psoriasis. I use this to exfoliate my rough patches on my knees and elbows (haven't tried on my face as a cleanser), and it works great at removing all my dead skin. I then moisturize with Dream Cream (another wonderful Lush product) and these 2 products alone help keep my psoriasis under control without using my prescribed lotions.

If you are contemplating purchasing any Lush product, I say go for it. I have been a Lushie for about 3-4 years now (since my trip to the UK), and I have very rarely been disappointed in their products. Be aware that all internet purchases for Lush are shipped from their manufacturing facility in Vancouver, so unless you are willing to pay a bit for expedited shipping, expect a long wait time for delivery.

Your facial blemishes will BENO more with ZENO
I do not have a huge acne problem, but I do get the occasional North Star or secondary nose or a little friend on my forehead. I was extremely skeptical regarding this product especially with the other review being so poor. I saw this on the six o'clock news and decided what have I got to loose. All the device really does is heat up this tip that you place against your blemish and the heat kills the bacteria thus killing the blemish. IT DOES WORK PERFECTLY! The little friend that I have had on my forehead for two weeks is no more. Normally it would have been around for a few more weeks but with Zeno, after the first treatment, I saw an immediate improvement without me making it worse by trying to push out the bacteria. This product is probably the secret of Hollywood cause you rarely see those people with zits... I am super pleased with this product. Zeno is pain-free, and very easy to use. After one treatment your blemish will immediately start to disappear. If you have a ton of blemishes all over your face, I am not sure this is right for you, but for those like me who get 1-3 a week that seem to boil up overnight, this product will kill them immediately without creams, squeezing or scrubbing.

Like Magic
When I first heard of this product I was sceptical as with most products that claim "magical" effects, but once I tried it, in 2 days a huge pimple on my forhead was gone by the second day. I was very pleased. It doesn't go away in 24 hours more me, but as long as it goes away soon, I'm happy. I recommened using it many times a day to see faster results. The only thing that I don't like (but don't mind) is the redness that occurs after the treatment, but that goes away in a few hours. It was worth the price. I also put benxoyl peroxide cream after using Zeno which speeds up the clearing of the pimple.

It's worth the money
I only get the occasional pimple, and the Zeno zaps it either all the way gone or greatly reduced. It might not be great for a face full of zits, but it works for me, and I love it!

Amazing product....
I don't know how many reviews I've read over and over before finally purchasing this product. I had doubts but was praying for the best. I know that this is a sensitive topic for most people. I do not have serious chronic acne and I think this product is best for someone with an occasional breakout here or there. I have tried ProActiv, and just about every over the counter product, from Clinique to Clean & Clear. I have also seen 2 dermatologists, only to receive creams that dried out my skin and made it peel and burn.

You know when you get those painful blemishes below the skin that you have to wait forever for them to go away or break the surface of your skin? This is PERFECT for those. I woke up one morning, tried the Zeno on it one time in the morning and by the end of the treatment, it was barely noticable and less painful. In the afternoon, I did another treatment on the same spot, with better results. I did it one more time on the same spot even though it was almost gone in the evening and the next day, poof! It was like it was never even there.... I don't know of any cream that can do that without drying and peeling and redness. This is the answer to all my prayers. I could not be happier.

Zeno is easy to use. Just wait until the light blinks green and press the button and place the tip on the affected area. It warms up. Not hot, but warm. It beeps ever so often to let you know that it's still working and after about 2 minutes it gives a final series of beeps to let you know it's done.

I also love the little carrying case with mirror. It's small enough to throw in my purse. And unless you know what Zeno is, you'd never know what it was for (perfect for those teens who may be embarrased over having shelves of acne creams and solutions).

One of my friends is a dermotologist. I told her about the product and she went and bought one the next day. Now she's a believer too!!!

Works very well but only when caught very early!
I really love the zeno!! I've tried a bazillion prescriptions and I did find a couple that work but they just reduce acne. When I feel a little bump coming up under the skin, theres nothing the creams can do. This is where the zeno is great!! My main problem is that I usually have a cyst or two and the zeno says it doesnt work on cysts but it does!! Given I do treat each one like 4 times but it's worth it. All have not even come up except for one that came fully to the surface that same day and went away the next.

the reason for 4 stars is becuase you have to catch pimples as early as possible. But it's not too big of a deal for how well it clears it!!

Skeptical but now a believer!
I was very skeptical about this item. I am a 34 year old female who has had mild acne my whole life. Most people never noticed but it is because I never left the house if it was very severe. I have tried everything. I have spent so many dollars on acne products and believed one recent "acne kit" worked but the acne was still there. I must have tried every brand out there. Every cream, gel, lotion, ointment, mask, toner, astringent, etc. I thought it was the way I ate but I drink a ton of water and never touch fast food. I then though maybe it was because I was over washing. You name it I have thought of it. I bought this after I have had a few zits that would not clear up. Nobody likes to talk or even read about zits/acne but it is a problem for some of us. It literally kept me from going out. I recently had a huge one on my cheek, the kind you can feel and it is still healing. I received the ZENO 90 last week. I charged it for the first six hours and it states to use it on acne that is not at the surface already but acne that you can feel coming on. I had a few small ones and tried it on those and they went away. Still skeptical because they were not big and never hit the surface so how was I to know it was the ZENO or not. Then tonight I got a really big one next to the old one on my cheek. I got depressed. I know it is pathetic. I knew this was one that was going to be huge. It was one like the others I have had. You cannot help but pick at it and it takes weeks to go away. Scabs up and bleeds, no make up will cover it. Since it was so deep I truly did not think the ZENO would get it. I could literally feel pain on my cheek that is how bad this new acne was. I used the ZENO twice on it tonight and I cannot even feel the acne pain anymore and within hours it is clearing up! I did not believe it would work until I tried it tonight. I almost want to cry. This little device is giving me part of my life back. I was so embarrassed at some of my recent acne I could not bare to face people. What this thing did tonight proved it works on even the most deep seeded acne that will take weeks to clear. As far as treatments they are not bad at all. They have some heat but nothing too uncomfortable. I truly think it is the acne that you apply it to that can cause the most pain not the device. I also clean the device with an alcohol pad after each use just to be safe. I cannot say enough about this product. I was very skeptical but after tonight, I am a believer and will never use anything else besides this. Of course I will still wash my face with a cleanser but if I feel anything coming on, I am using my ZENO. It rocks!

Things You Should Know
There are so many varied reviews for this product depending on which version you clicked on! Here's what I've found from mine:

First, this is intended to work on adult acne, the occasional blemish. Sorry teens, this probably isn't the best choice for you unless you only have the occasional break-out.

Second, this only works on NEW pimples so when you get it, don't expect the ones you currently have to suddenly disappear. It works best when you first notice a pimple appearing, especially in that just starting to get sore, slight red spot stage.

That being sad, it does actually work, provided you keep the first two rules in mind! Two days after I received mine, I noticed that tell tale red spot beginning to form, I zapped it & not only did it not get worse, by the next morning, it was completely gone!

I was skeptical of this product - especially at the price - however I am so pleased with its effectiveness. I rely on other reviewers remarks and so I am writing to tell you that it is definately worth the price. I can't believe how quickly it clears up a pimple. When I think of all the money I've spent on products over the years - and I'm in my 40s! I was tired of buying products that overdried my skin but left me with a red, angry looking spot. This product is truly amazing and works as effectively on mild acne. I only wish the Zeno was around when I was a teenager!
