Aromarant Deodorant by LUSH

Product Description

Aromarant is a lemon and herb-scented block of deodorant made with fresh lemons because they are astringent, cooling and good for armpits. We use a fine collection of plant infusions too. Cleavers calms the skin and witch hazel and oak bark are strong, skin-cooling astringents. Bicarbonate of soda absorbs odors and neutralizes the microbes that live on your skin and react with sweat to cause pongs. Sandalwood oil makes you smell good. Done.

Customer Reviews

A healthier option that WORKS!!5
In trying to reduce the synthetic chemicals in my personal care, I have tried Tom's of Maine deodorants, which work, but are not anti-perspirants too. A friend suggested LUSH and I owe her BIG.

The product should be kept in an airtight container (as noted on their website product reviews) and should be used on warm dry skin for the best results. Yeah, it'll crumble a little, but not alot.

The first day I used this I went hiking and...no soggy shirt! no stinkiness either! The aroma is sandalwood and lemon, which may not be pleasant on all people (like grapefruit on me...completely gross!). I really like this product and will be trying more from LUSH.

Update: 10 months later...(75% of the bar used)

Still *love* this product. You have to watch out for the sunflower seeds and orange peel bits as this wears down, but those can easily be removed as you wear the bar down (they're only on one side making it super easy).

You will sweat: if you normally use prescription antiperspirant, if you're very active on a very hot/humid day, or if you're *extremely* active any other time (think human tractor pull here folks).
