Customer Reviews

Exfoliates Effectively5
Herbalism is an earthy product that feels like clay. To use it you have to add a little water and then smooth it over your skin. It takes about a minute to exfoliate like a dream. I was very impressed with how effective it was and it left my skin moisturized and radiant. If you are allergic to nut oils this might not be for you, although I am allergic to almonds and didn't experience any problems. The ingredients include: glycerine, kaolin, chlorphylin water, ground almonds, rice bran, rosebuds, powdered nettle, rose absolute, chamomile oil, sage oil, powdered marigold, powdered chamomile, powdered rosemary, chamomile flowers, marigold petals, limonene, linalool and perfume.

Awkward to use, but a nice product3
Herbalism is a nice scrub that comes packaged as though it were a deli product (at least when purchased at LUSH stores) which is amusing it it's own way. While a very effective scrub for cutting off emerging acne problems if used at the first signs of problems, it can be a little awkward to use - figuring out how much to use, how much water to mix and then getting the paste from palm to hand without creating a huge mess can be a bit challenging. It has a distinctively pungent odor from the rice vinegar, but the scent fades very quickly. Overall, worth a try. I hope to try Sweet Japanese Girl to see if it works as well or if I will have to be resigned to a little bit of sloppiness.
